The story behind Calling

Inspiration behind Calling, as written by Anita

Calling addresses the conflict that many of us face (I know I do) between the comfortable – the things we know well and are so used to – and taking that step of faith to get out of the boat and do what we are called to do. It’s not an easy challenge, nor is it one that should be taken lightly, but if we do follow our calling the reward will be so much greater.

Lyrics

Who am I when I can live so freely?
Who am I if I’m not longing to change the world?

Who am I when I can live so freely?
Should I let it in? Should I fight the fight?
Who am I if I’m not longing to change the world?
Should I look to Him for guidance and help me see the light?

And I’m torn between my comfort and my calling.

Should I let it in? Should I fight the fight?
My comfort and my calling.
Should I look to Him for guidance and help me see the light?
And I’m torn between my comfort and my calling.

Who am I when I can live so freely? My comfort and my calling.
Who am I if I’m not longing to change the world? My comfort and my calling.

Change the world.
